A Beacon of Hope............
As a guiding force for community projects, the Pilot Club of Jacksonville is a volunteer organization of executive, business and professional leaders. Working together to improve the quality of life in North Florida, this club steadfastly supports numerous agencies that are so vital to our community.
Chartered in 1934, The Pilot Club of Jacksonville has touched the lives of countless individuals. From purchasing vans for transporting arthritic patients to establishing the Civic Round Table and Girls, Inc., these volunteers combine their diverse talents and resources to serve those in need.
Treasures of the Past Chart the Way to the Future....
Since 1949 our Annual Antiques Show and Sale has enabled the Pilot Club of Jacksonville to fund its community projects. This annual event, considered to be one of the oldest continuing antiques show in the United States, supports the club's many endeavors.
Friendship and Service....
By establishing and cultivating friendships, members can broaden their service opportunities and can assume active roles in the community. Taking part in these activities and service projects improves the civic and social welfare of the community.
A Proud History, An Exciting Future....
Pilot International, the parent organization of the Pilot Club of Jacksonville, was founded in 1921. The name was inspired by the riverboat pilots of that day who represented leadership and guidance, staying on a steady course.
Pilot International has grown to more than 12,000 members worldwide and continues to embace the constantly changing needs of the communities being served. High School Anchor Clubs, sponsored by our Club and other area Pilot Clubs are instilling these principles in our young leaders of tomorrow.
